Plans for the Future

Building on our past accomplishments, there is a great deal more we plan to do in the future to benefit both the Universities of Crete, as well as members of the Pencretan Association, young and old.

Existing programs, such as the University Summer Studies, Student Exchanges and Seminars need to be strengthened and expanded. Furthermore, the feasability of new projects dealing with the Customs, Culture and the History of Crete need to be carefully evaluated and implemented. Such programs would benefit our members, especially the youth, but also the parents in assisting then to teach their children about our Hellenic-Cretan identity and heritage.

Programs under active consideration by our Trustees include:

  • Summer Camp programs as the University of Crete for students age 12 to 18.
  • The Museum of Cretan Music at the University of Crete (Rethymno).
  • Unique projects at the University and Polytechnic School of Crete for our mutual benefit.

Individually and collectively, the Trustees of the Pancretan Endowment Fund gladly offer their volunteer services for the progress of the Pancretan Association, for the proliferation and love of our Cretan identity, culture and heritage, and our love for our birthpalace, Crete. Through working together, we can all face the challenges posed by the difficult times and places we live in.
